Microsoft Dynamics NAV2013 offers three different types of clients. :

    • Dynamics NAV 2013’s new web client

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 web client will support Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Explorer browsers, and being web based means it will offer mobile integration too. Most functionality will be available in the web client that will be available in the full client. Client software installation is not required. Users for this client will be the ERP users and Full NAV application will be available in the web browser. Application can be accessed from anywhere using web browser.

    • Dynamics NAV 2013 SharePoint client

Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 Share Point client works with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010. The benefit of having users not currently using NAV entering data directly into NAV through something like a SharePoint client will be faster completion of processes and reduction of duplicate entries. Light or occasional ERP users can use this client. This client will provide the self-service applications and collaboration.

    • Dynamics NAV 2013 Windows client

Separate installation of window client required to run the application. Core ERP users can use the client. Rich and vivid functionality for the entire application will be available with this client.
